Don’t miss the UW IT Mentoring Kick-off event Oct 29

This is your opportunity to participate in a campus-wide mentoring program developed specifically for IT employees. The UW-IT Mentoring program is preparing to kick off its 2020-2021 cohort and we’re looking for your participation!

The program will match mentors with mentees who will then establish clear expectations and goals in their mentoring relationship. The year will consist of a series of sponsored events to support and grow these relationships and promote cross-campus collaboration, with a focus on fostering mentoring relationships in times of uncertainty. To sign up, just fill out a mentor or mentee survey below.

Become a Mentor

As a mentor, you will be helping a mentee set and attain career and personal goals, meeting regularly to share best practices, and encouraging excellence.

Become a Mentee

As a mentee, you will learn about the campus and the IT community while expanding your network, explore potential career paths, and develop professional opportunities.

Kick-Off Event

Join us Thursday, October 29, 10-11am with networking 11-11:30am.

There are no specific requirements for being a mentor or a mentee. We’d recommend folks participate as mentors if you have been on a campus for a few years. We’d recommend considering becoming a mentee if you are new to campus, looking to prepare yourself for career movement, or just want to work with someone new!
