Part of any designer’s job is to share information in the most accessible way possible. While the limitations of current tools, apps and bandwidth can be challenging, making work that goes beyond simple compliance provides an excellent opportunity to strengthen design skills, be more mindful in communication, and make our particular part of the world a bit more inclusive.
Please join the UW Design Community on June 18 to hear panelists Denise Jess (executive director of the Wisconsin Council of the Blind & Visually Impaired) and Gray Miller (ADHD writer and advocate) will share their insights and best practices on accessible social media design: Not just what works and how to implement it—but also why making your sites more accessible benefits every part of your work, from big clients to the bottom line. We’ll end the session with a 30-minute question-and-answer session.
