Doodle is a free service that makes scheduling individual or group meetings quick and easy. You may have used a personal account in the past but the university also has a license with Doodle, which has added benefits including no advertisements and data encryption (protecting your information from being stolen or compromised).
Types of meetings
Group polls
- Poll your group and find a meeting day and time that works for the majority of participants.
- The meeting organizer picks the dates and times, and participants select which days work for their schedule.
1:1 meetings (1 on 1’s)
- You choose possible times for the meeting and your guest confirms 1 of the times you’ve chosen.
- Connect Doodle to your calendar so you can easily see your availability.
- Set up multiple meetings at once: send your Doodle 1:1 invitation to any number of guests and book several 1-on-1’s at once.
Booking page
- Fully automated scheduling solution.
- Allows people to book time on your calendar.
- You decide what time you have available and let your meeting partner decide when to book.

- Student or staff interviews (be sure to limit participants and adjust visibility settings)
Benefits of Doodle
- Easily schedule meetings and events independent of recipients’ email systems.
- Send invitations using your email or directly from Doodle.
- Import Doodle calendar events into Outlook.
- Use Doodle on your mobile device.
- Outlook can be synchronized using the Doodle Outlook Plugin. Other calendar users need to create an account and follow the guidelines in the calendar settings.
