October was dedicated to AP prep work from Field Services as they prepared for Westphal’s involvement in new AP deployments. All newly ordered AP’s have been delivered and Field Services continues to work on unboxing and preparing those AP’s for Westphal, who has begun new AP deployments. Westphal started with a trial deployment at the end of October to determine estimates for how many AP’s could be deployed per day/week. At this point, it is expected that Westphal will be able to deploy about 40-50 AP’s per day per 2 person crew on larger buildings, and slightly less on smaller buildings given transition time. At this pace, with 4 crews from Westphal, we expect that we can install around 1000 AP’s per week. Field Services, Electric Shop and Westphal have created shared documentation and priority lists of the building deployments and there is a high degree of collaboration, which will further help moving more quickly through the new AP deployments. Field Services will follow the Westphal team to test and configure the installed AP’s, as necessary.
