Best practices for inclusive, diverse photography in higher education

You’re invited to join the UW Design Community for our next session. The University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA) put out a 1st-of-its-kind guide addressing visual representation, and we are lucky to have 4 of the people involved joining us for a discussion: Cydney Scott, Susan McSpadden, Amanda Pitts and Glenn Carpenter—all UPAA members and university photographers from peer institutions.

UPAA is an international organization of college and university photographers concerned with the application and practice of photography as it relates to the higher education setting.

If you haven’t read it already, we encourage you to read the guide ahead of our session: Best Practices for Inclusive and Diverse Photography in Higher Education. It’s an important read, and not too long.
