Duo multi-factor authentication (MFA)

The Duo Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) service provides secure access to all UW–‍Madison applications. Paired with the NetID login service, Duo MFA adds an extra layer of identity protection onto the NetID login.

SecureBox

SecureBox service provides a free-online file storage and collaboration service to store ePHI.  It is available for UW–‍Madison staff to share ePHI data with collaborators (internal and external to UW–‍Madison) when a departmental solution is not available and the amount of data to be stored is less than 50GB.

Engage

The eText reader provides integrated access to publisher eTexts via Canvas, as well as access to other publisher-provided tools and resources – typically at a fraction of the print cost.

Integration platform

Enables data integration between systems and applications, including on-premises-to-cloud, cloud-to-cloud, and cloud-to-on-premises.

Computer labs (InfoLabs)

The UW–‍Madison InfoLabs offers several general access computer labs and equipment loaning locations conveniently located across campus.

Web conferencing (Zoom)

Zoom is an enterprise cloud platform for video, voice, online meetings, screen sharing, chat and webinars. This enterprise web conferencing and distance learning application runs across mobile devices, desktops, telephones and room systems and includes access to the Zoom AI Companion.

Honorlock

Honorlock is an automated proctoring solution that helps instructors foster academic integrity when providing remote assessments to students.

Google Cloud Platform

Google Cloud Platform (GCP)  is supported by UW Cloud Services, a CIO-sponsored initiative to deliver public cloud computing services to UW–‍Madison faculty, staff, and departments.

CloudFax

Send and receive faxes electronically through Microsoft 365 email.

Turnitin

Turnitin is a web-based assignment evaluation tool that can be used by both instructors and students at UW–‍Madison.
