Endpoint computing
Services that enable community members to do their day-to-day work, including providing access to enterprise
services. Includes network access, user file storage, end-point computing backup solutions, desktop virtualization,
computer labs, and printing.
SharePoint Online
SharePoint in Microsoft 365 provides the content services for all files in Microsoft 365, including files stored and shared within Teams, Groups, and Outlook. SharePoint manages files (including permissions management), and powers content collaboration across the Microsoft 365 suite of services. SharePoint enables sites, portals, news, pages, lists, and a platform for business apps.
Windows OS Deployment (OSD) Service
The DoIT Departmental Support Windows Operating System Deployment (OSD) Service is a flexible, cost-effective solution that UW–Madison departments may use to deploy Windows and commonly installed applications to departmentally owned systems.
Repair
The DoIT Help Desk offers free software services such as virus detection and removal and operating system re-installs. In addition, if you have a departmentally owned Apple or Dell computer that is in need of a hardware repair, we can facilitate a repair to one of our contract repair service vendors who are Dell and Apple warranty certified.
Departmental tech support
Provides flexible, reliable, cost-effective, high-quality enterprise technology support. Assists with technical support and provides management and security of end-user devices, applications, and related technology.
Endpoint management
Endpoint Management allows campus units to secure their endpoints with centralized HCL BigFix and VMware Workspace ONE infrastructure.
Computer labs (InfoLabs)
The UW–Madison InfoLabs offers several general access computer labs and equipment loaning locations conveniently located across campus.

There are numerous printing options available on campus, depending on your role or the quantity and the materials that you need to print.
InfoLabs software
Infolabs offer an extensive, standard selection of Windows and MacOS software for laptops and desktops. Additional software is available at select locations.
Pay-for-print (PaperCut) for departments
