TidyUP is a file clean up tool integrated in Canvas. Instructors and course designers can use it to scan an entire Canvas course to identify and remove unused files and pages.
Benefits
- Scan your Canvas courses to find and remove files that are not linked inside of pages or modules.
- Back up your files before removing them from your course.
- Move files around the Canvas files area, allowing you to manage documents and hide them from scans to be removed from the course.
- Helpful when rolling a course from one term to the next to make sure that there are no unused files in the new course.
Getting started
TidyUP is integrated directly within Canvas. Documentation is available on the Learn@UW–Madison TidyUP KnowledgeBase and offers helpful information on how to get started.
